  1. I haven’t used this one yet. So far my rat hasn’t chewed on my yellow one lmao, but it’s backup. So all I can say is that the color is nice haha.

  2. Worked right out of the box and looks great. Has internal illumination powered by the USB connector, Plug-N-Play recognized.

  3. I bought this mouse for the color, which is very vibrant and looks great on my desk. However, I am very disappointed with the quality of the mouse. After using it for about 8 months, the shiny, clear finish is rubbing/scratching off with no real cause. Since its appearance is the big draw of this mouse, it’s unfortunate that it’s degrading so quickly.

Also, I was not expecting the mouse to glow, and periodically flash, so brightly, even when not in use. I am posting a picture of the mouse in the dark so that you can see how bright it is before you buy it. I found the bright light annoying at night.

Overall, I also wouldn’t recommend this mouse for daily use the way I have been using it. It only has the two buttons and a scroll wheel, which is pretty stiff, so it doesn’t have a lot of features or comfort to offer. It would probably be more practical and usable as a travel mouse, since it is too small for most adults’ hands, and it wears out quickly.

  4. I couldn’t give it 5 stars because I’m very picky with UID’s, but this is indeed a very fine mouse. I bought this for my laptop, thus the lack of additional buttons is no handicap. For my machines in general, I’ve always chosen corded Logitech mice and have been very happy with them, but this time I decided to try a Saitek. It’s small in the hand certainly, being a notebook mouse, but it’s not uncomfortably small. The colored panels (whether you choose black or another color) are “rubberized” and have a really nice feel at the fingertips. The two primary buttons have a nice response and are neither too light nor too stiff. The scroll wheel rolls easily with useful detents. The wheel button is rather still which is actually helpful – limits how much it is accidentally activated whilst scrolling. The motion is smooth and the resolution seems quite adequate. It also has blue and red internal backlights that shine through the clear portions of the mouse chassis – looks pretty cool I have to admit.

I’ve only had it in use for about one month, so no idea on longevity but I’m guessing it should be competative with any decent mouse. So on the whole, I am very pleased with this mouse. And especially considering the price, it’s certainly a good deal. The fit and finish is significantly better than those bulk OEM optical units. Saitek has made a good product here and I would definitely recommend it, except perhaps for gaming and graphic design.

  5. C. Stewart says:

I loved that this mouse came in multiple colors as we are a family of 5, all with laptop computers. By getting different colored mice for each family member, it eliminated a lot of arguments about whose mouse was whose. It is a smaller sized mouse, so my husband tends to prefer a bigger one but for me and the teenage kids, it works great.
