This mouse was a replacement for a Logitech that I loved, but the usb receiver broke and I had to get something new.
The mouse won’t work if the receiver is more than about 12 inches away – if I use the usb port on the opposite side of the computer it has a hard time connecting! Really!?
The mouse won’t work on many surfaces. I used the Logitech on the arm of the couch, on my jeans, on the table, on a piece of paper. The Microsoft mouse can’t work in any of those places. It seems it has to be a mouse pad – what is the effing point of that for a NOTEBOOK mouse? I don’t want to have to carry a mouse pad with me!
Several times I have wanted to throw this thing across the room. I usually just use the touchpad instead. I’m going to buy a Logitech as soon as I have the money.

Works fine on any PC with a USB port. Don’t like how far the sending unit sticks out from the USB port. Just have to be careful moving the laptop around or placing things on the table close to the USB port side of the laptop.

The bluetooth connection with a laptop makes this a very useful product. We did not want to have a usb “dongle” to plug into the laptop and risk it hitting something or forgetting to turn it off and sticking it back into the laptop bag to break (or worse, break the usb port!) It’s size is good, has a good feel, and the batteries can last months if you remember to turn if “off” when putting it away. Once a connection is established with the laptop during setup, it usually just takes a few seconds for subsequent connections.
As far as different surfaces, we use it next to the touchpad on a eee 1000H and it is ok. It seems to have a hard time on high gloss surfaces, such as a folding table with a “clear coat” finish. We will normally put a piece of paper under it when on that table. Glossy magazines do not cause a problem.

I have been using this mouse for 3 months on my laptop and love it. The batteries last just fine. It uses a USB plug in sensor that works flawless. I have never lost a signal. I love the feel of this mouse, it is a perfect size. I have average size hands and it is a great fit. Definitiely get this mouse.

I love this product. It makes surfing the web on my laptop much easier. The mouse is very precise and worth the almost 6 months I had to wait for the product to be available. Plus, I applied for the Amazon Visa and got a $30 credit on my first purchase plus free shipping. So I actually paid less than $10 for the mouse. How can you beat that.
